  1. Toby, I have a question for you. I was reading that running shoes aren't that great to lift in because it can throw off your balance and that a minimalist shoe is better. What do you recommend? I see that you change shoes before you do the WOD. Do you wear specific weightlifting shoes? Should I just look for a shoe with a flat sole? Thanks!

  2. instead of give you a long answer here, lemme see if i can find a link to good shoe advice or else hit me up tomorrow and we can talk face to face and let others join in if they want to. Short answer is that it is true that running shoes suck for heavy lifts...both power and olympic.
